Product Description

1kg/bag Thermoplastic Hot Melt Adhesive DTF Black Powder For Heat Transfer

DTF Black Powder Description
DTF black powder is black thermoplastic polyurethane powdery hot melt adhesive. It has the special function of preventing the color migration (anti-sublimation) of the fabric; soft hand feeling, good resilience, stretchability, and excellent low temperature processability. It has excellent bonding properties to textiles.

In DTF printing, the DTF adhesive powder is applied to a print substrate, typically a heat-transfer film. The powder is usually black or another dark color to enhance the contrast and vibrancy of the printed design. The adhesive powder is applied using a specialized printer that deposits the powder onto the film in a precise pattern, corresponding to the desired design.

Features of Black Hot Melt Adhesive Powder
1. Black hot melt adhesive powder is often preferred over other types of adhesives because it has a relatively fast set time, meaning that it solidifies quickly after being applied.
2. It is also resistant to water, chemicals, and UV radiation, making it ideal for use in harsh environments.

Storage Conditions

1. The temperature is 20-30"C, the humidity is 45-55%, there is no ultraviolet light, and it is protected from light (light protection includes light and natural light) to avoid long-term contact with the air.

2. Hot melt adhesive powder is easy to agglomerate when damp, so unused powder should be sealed and stored.

3. Agglomeration is found during use, and it is filtered through a screen mesh. The stacking strength of materials should not be too large, and the stacking height should be moderate.

Black Hot Melt Adhesive Powder Application
DTF black powder is used in textile, clothing and T-shirt heat transfer printing

Once the adhesive powder is applied, the excess powder is removed, leaving behind the desired design on the film. The film with the adhesive design is then transferred onto the target substrate, such as a garment, using heat and pressure. The heat activates the adhesive, allowing it to bond with the fabric, resulting in a durable and vibrant print.
