What are the advantages of DTF over traditional processes?

Comparison of the core advantages of DTF versus traditional processes
1. Wider material compatibility

DTF is suitable for a variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and PVC. Traditional DTG is only suitable for pure cotton, and thermal sublimation requires a polyester content exceeding 65%.

2. Production flexibility and cost advantages

Small-batch friendly: DTF supports single-piece printing, while thermal sublimation requires a minimum order of 50 pieces, and traditional screen printing requires plate-making fees and higher minimum order quantities.

Improved efficiency: Transfer printing takes only 20-30 seconds per piece, eliminating the need for plate-making.

3. Finished Product Quality and Durability

Color Rendering: DTF patterns offer vibrant and precise colors, and complex designs are highly realistic, surpassing the rough feel of traditional pigment printing.

Washability: DTF patterns can withstand over 50 washes, while DTG can withstand approximately 30. Sublimation is the most durable, but fabrics are limited.

In summary, DTF significantly surpasses traditional processes in flexibility and quality, making it particularly well-suited for personalized customization and fast fashion.
