Above this temperature, the material transitions from a viscoelastic solid to a viscoelastic fluid, allowing it to thoroughly wet out and bond to substrates.

Recommended Bonding Conditions

DS6194 delivers exceptional bonding strength under specified PU cloth and PC lamination tests. To assist manufacturers in achieving optimal peel strength, Tunsing recommends the following standard processing guidelines:

  • First Lamination:

    • Mechanical Mold Temperature: 130°C-180°C

    • Time: 5-15 seconds

    • Pressure: 0.3-0.6mpa

  • Second Lamination:

    • Mechanical Mold Temperature: 140°C-180°C

    • Time: 8-25 seconds

    • Pressure: 0.3-0.6mpa

Important Notice: Actual bonding conditions will vary depending on the specific machinery and materials used, as the conditions stated here are basic baselines. The bonding temperature must be close to the temperature set by the machine, the pressure must be uniform, and the mold and press rolls must be flat. Manufacturers must conduct detailed verification prior to volume production to establish the most ideal conditions for their unique applications.
