Recently, Shenzhen Tunsing Plastic Products Co., Ltd. officially released the latest Technical Data Sheet (TDS V1.4) for its core product—DS001TS Copolyester Hot Melt Adhesive Film. Developed specifically for textiles, footwear materials, and composite applications, DS001TS provides an efficient and eco-friendly bonding solution for garments, footwear, bags, and handicrafts thanks to its exceptional bonding strength, wash resistance, and rigorous thermodynamic properties.

1. Excellent Material Compatibility Across Multiple Fields

DS001TS utilizes premium copolyester as its core material and features a milky white, semi-transparent appearance. It comes with a glassine release paper backing, making it convenient for automated cutting and lamination processing.

Wide Substrate Applicability

This adhesive film demonstrates excellent adhesion to textiles, PVC, and PC materials, making it widely applicable in:

  • Garments & Footwear: Seamless clothing, apparel lamination, footwear uppers, and sole accessories;

  • Bags & Luggage: Reinforcement and lamination for various leather and fabric bags;

  • Reflective Materials & Embroidery: Reflective badges, embroidered patches, and handicraft bonding;

Outstanding Washability and Durability

DS001TS offers strong environmental resistance, withstanding 40°C water washing and supporting dry cleaning, which significantly enhances the durability and service life of finished products.

2. Precise Thermodynamic Analysis for Stable Processing

To help customers accurately configure their manufacturing parameters, Tunsing's R&D team performed rigorous thermal and rheological analyses using professional testing equipment (Netzsch DSC and Anton Paar Rheometer):

  • Melting & Activation Characteristics: DSC testing indicates a melting peak temperature of approximately 95.1°C, with an overall melting range of 80–105°C and an activation temperature range of 116–150°C.

  • Rheological Transition Point: Rotational rheometer tests show that the cross-over temperature where the film transitions from a viscoelastic solid to a viscoelastic liquid is approximately 78.1°C, providing effective guidance for mold heating and pre-heating processes.

  • Melt Flow Index (MI): The melt flow index is 32±15 cm³/10mins (ASTM D1238-04), ensuring excellent leveling and penetration during pressing.

3. Recommended Lamination Conditions & Diverse Specifications

To achieve optimal peel strength, Tunsing provides standard recommended parameters for both first and second lamination processes:
